Daniel Wellington is the brainchild of Filip Tysander, with the goal to create watches with a minimalist and elegant approach. He was inspired by – you guessed it! – the real Daniel Wellington, a fellow traveller who wore his vintage watches on old NATO straps. Since 2011 the idea of designing classic watch faces with interchangeable straps has become a reality and a highly successful brand.
