India gloves│Cornelia James

I’m all about upping my accessories game, and what better way to add a finishing touch to an outfit than with gloves? So when Cornelia James reached out I jumped at the chance to give them a try. Arriving in the UK as a refugee in 1939, Cornelia quickly made herself a hit by adding pops of colour to a post-war fashion scene with her leather gloves. After supplying the gloves for the wedding of Princess Elizabeth to Lt. Philip Mountbatten in 1947 Cornelia’s relationship with the royal household began, with a Royal Warrant granted in 1979. Cornelia’s daughter Genevieve now continues to run the business using traditional methods and the highest quality materials. Read on to find out more about the gloves I chose for this post, the India fine net gloves in ivory.

But in the Coco set from Violets in May I can experience all the joy of a beachy outfit, without actually being at the beach. Violets in May is the brainchild of pinup model Lola Diamond, and all her clothing is produced from start to finish in the UK. Click below for more pics and info on the gorgeous Coco set!
