When I first got into dressing vintage (more than a few years ago now!) I remember coats being the hardest thing to find in a popping bright colour, especially one that would fit over my skirts. Thank goodness for Ronke, the brains behind Love Ur Look, and her love of colour! She has dreamed up the most eye-catching statement coat in such a glorious shade of Barbie pink, and I can confirm it definitely fits a big skirt and petticoat underneath it. Not to mention all the darling details; the bold green lining, the easy-close front, pockets (!), and a waist tie for cinching. Being 100% wool it’ll keep you toasty on the coldest of days, and its high quality makes it a great investment that you’ll reach for season after season. I’m wearing a size S, which gives me plenty of wiggle room to wear something wintery underneath (I wore quite a thick wool dress for this shoot) while not being too big. If you adore this style like me, then you might also need it in green, black, and navy!
