Summer sunset│Splendette

I can’t say I’ve ever had a strong bangle game – until now that is! Today I’m delighted to be featuring Splendette on the blog for the first time, a UK-based maker of vintage-inspired jewellery who are especially known for their amazing ranges of bangles. Keeping reading to find out more about them and see how I styled some of their wonderful collection!

If you’re after vintage-inspired accessories to complete your outfit, look no further than Splendette! With new ranges of bangles, necklaces, and earrings released for spring and autumn each year, as well as staple colours like black and white always available, they’ve got something to match any outfit.

The best thing about Splendette is that everything matches and complements each other. For example, in the rose shade (one of the colours I’m wearing here) you’ve got the choice of varying widths and sizes of bangles, plus a matching necklace and earrings, which is perfect for tying an outfit together. You can also find complementary colours (I went with coconut and bon bon here) for fun bangle stacking options!

For my first outfit I’m wearing narrow and midi coconut Maiden fit bangles, narrow and midi rose Maiden fit bangles, narrow and midi bon bon Maiden fit bangles, a classic fit wide rose bangle, and the rose beaded necklace. I love how the colour combo was such a good match with my vintage Horrockses dress!

I have tiny wrists, so I think that’s why I’ve shied away from wearing bangles for so long – I was worried they’d slip right off! Luckily for me and all you other dainty-wristed folk out there, Splendette have a range of bangle sizes to accommodate everyone. All the narrow and midi bangles I’m wearing are Maiden size, which measure 5.8cm in diameter and they’re definitely not at risk of falling off my arms – phew! The wide bangles I’ve got are the Classic size, which is 6.5cm in diameter; I couldn’t wear them on their own, but the Maiden bangles act as a stopper which is perfect. There’s also a Duchess size, which measures 7.5cm in diameter.

With my second outfit I paired the narrow and midi sherbet Maiden fit bangles with the coconut bangles from my previous outfit. I also swapped between the coconut and sherbet necklaces as they both worked so well! Note each of the colours has a distinct carved pattern, which is such a lovely touch!

A big thank you to the lovely Hannah of Splendette for generously sending me all these incredible pieces to style! It’s now left me wondering – how on earth did I survive before without bangles?! Thank you as well to @cmjsnz for taking these pics. PS keep an eye out for more Splendette goodness coming to the blog soon!
