London’s had its first sign of snow today so what better time to talk about winter accessories? Lindy Bop has a huge range of everything to keep you both warm and stylish including hats, boots, tights, scarves, and gloves – and better yet, you know they’ll all coorindate! The LB team have been so generous in letting me choose a variety of accessories to showcase, see how I’ve styled them during both autumn and winter after the jump.
As someone who’s almost always in heels (though with the onset of snow that might change soon!), navigating the cobbled and uneven footpaths of London requires some solid footwear, lest I roll an ankle! I immediately gravitated towards the Fritzi ankle boots, with their sturdy design and chunky heel. With a 2.8″ heel height and made in 100% leather they’re very safe and comfy to walk around in, especially over treacherous roads. I don’t have a lot of brown in my wardrobe but the warm tone of these boots makes them easy to pair with a number of other colours, especially red. The classic 40s design also means they’ll fit in really well with your vintage winter outfits! I went with a UK4.5 and they’re a perfect fit.
Realising that I’d eventually need some more flats down the line, I also plumped for a classic pair of the Gigi black patent loafers. These shoes are cute as a button and so shiny you can see yourself in them! Being 100% leather they’re really easy to wear, and while the UK size 4 pair I received were just a little tight initially they are already starting to give. They have a real swinging 60s feel to them, which definitely influenced my outfit when styling them!
I am loving any opportunity to wear a hat this season, and this classic camel cloche hat is the perfect excuse! It’s the ultimate neutral shade, so it goes with everything (especially the Fritzi boots!), and it’s one size fits all so you can’t go wrong. This chic cloche is made from the softest wool, but has a more solid structure than a beret so it keeps it’s shape. Too cute!
