Festive Splendor│Erstwilder

Having passed Halloween, we’re now on the home stretch to the most wonderful time of the year! Something special that I look forward to each year is seeing the new selection of Erstwilder Christmas designs. As someone who loves to dress in the spirit of Christmas leading right up to the big day, new festive adornments are always welcome! I’ve donned some seasonally appropriate cardigans (it’s getting cold here!) to best show off my favourites from the new Festive Splendor collection – read more about them below!

Guide My Sleigh brooch

My first pick has to be the Guide My Sleigh brooch, the cutest resin rendition of Rudolph! I love the contrasting resins used in this piece, and his sweet red nose and bead-studded collar. He definitely looks super happy to be leading the sleigh team, and he’ll go perfectly with my ‘Now, Prancer’ brooch from a previous Erstwilder Christmas collection!

Christmas Miracle brooch

Being in the Northern hemisphere for my first European Christmas has definitely influenced my picks this year, leading me towards more traditionally wintery pieces like the Christmas Miracle brooch. This Christmas candle is burning bright with some sparkly gold resins used to make the flame! The dark red candle, pinecones, and greenery all combine to make this a quietly elegant piece.

Treacle Treat brooch

One of the best parts about Christmas is the eating, and what better way to top of a wonderful Christmas meal than with pudding? The Treacle Treat brooch depicts the classic Christmas pud, with the resin textured to look just like a real one! It’s topped off with some delicious icing and a festive holly adornment. Careful, it might be tougher to bite into than the sixpence hiding in the real pudding!

Winter Wonderland brooch

It’s all that snow that makes for a classic white Christmas, and the Winter Wonderland brooch is certainly an instant classic! Giving off all the vintage festive vibes, this glam snowflake sparkles with a mixture of glittery white and textured cream resins. There’s also a matching necklace and pair of earrings for the full snowflake chic look! At the moment I’m looking forward to wearing this brooch when it snows, though I might be saying something different once that actually happens as I think I’ll like the idea of snow more than the reality!

Trinket Trio brooch set

Finally, how could I go past this delightful Trinket Trio brooch set? These red, blue, and white baubles are all unique and can be worn individually but they do also look so at home together. And have you noticed the hole at the top of each of them? Just like real Christmas decorations, these can be hung on your tree!

Thank you so much to the lovely Erstwilder team for helping us start the silly season in style, and to @cmjsnz for these pics! Remember to always check with your local stockists for items sold out on the Erstwilder website, as that’s always a second chance to get your favourites. Which pieces did you get this season?
