Natalia Skuba is the super talented founder of Sew Vintage by Natalia, an Etsy shop for tailor made vintage-style clothing. She has been sewing since she was little and after honing her ideas she started her store about a year ago out of California. Today I’m featuring one of Natalia’s circle skirts in Cityscape print; read on to find out my thoughts!

Natalia has a great eye for detail and is clearly excellent at what she does. The circle skirt I received is of impeccable quality and has been made with a lot of care and attention. I especially love that this and all of Natalia’s pieces have the option to be lined in a corresponding colour, which is a really nice touch.  This style also features a wide waistband (very flattering), a back invisible zip, and (swoon alert) pockets!

I requested the Cityscape fabric for my circle skirt as I fell in love with the bold print and colour palette. However, as this was a shorter width than some of Natalia’s other fabrics it has been made in panels – this was definitely not an issue for me but note that her full circle skirts would otherwise be made from the same piece of fabric (ie no panelling). As this skirt is still very full it is definitely a beauty for twirling in!

Of course being tailor made means that sizing isn’t an issue! Natalia will take the required measurements when you place an order to ensure the perfect fit. My waist size is 24″ which I requested for this skirt and of course it fits beautifully. The default length for a full circle skirt is 26″; I chose this length anyway as that is my preferrred length (falling a couple of inches below my knees), but you can specify if you would like a shorter or longer length.

You can purchase a full circle skirt of your own through the Sew Vintage by Natalia Etsy store for between roughly $56-$66USD, depending on if you would prefer it lined or unlined. Shipping within the US is a low $6USD, and you can get all the way to NZ for $22USD. Due to the tailor made nature of Natalia’s pieces you can expect orders to be ready to ship within 2-3 weeks, and they’re well worth the wait!
