Love Ur Look Clothing has some some of the best prints around and founder Ronke Fashola combines them with clever design aesthetics to create amazing clothing. Today I’m featuring one of her latest creations in an apple print – too cute!
The blue apple dress is designed in a shirt style which buttons up the front with sweet blue buttons, and it also has a zip at the side to make it even easier to get in and out of. It features a lovely little collar, pockets (!), and fold-over sleeves that also button together. The apple dress also has matching tie belt which cinches in your waist and is long enough to tie in a nice big bow. The apple print itself is so adorable and is a gorgeous turquoise colour on a cream background, which actually looks and feels very vintage. I am such a sucker for a good novelty print and even more so if it’s got fruit in it, so this dress really ticks all the boxes!
Made from 100% heavy cotton, this dress is a great all-year-round piece. It’s fully lined and the sleeves fall just below the elbow which keeps you cosy on a chilly day, but it’s also very breathable for a warmer day too. The skirt falls a few inches below my knees and being pleated I can comfortably fit a 2-layer petticoat under it, though it also sits really well without one.
Love Ur Look make clothing in sizes XS to XXL1, which covers UK sizes 6 – 20. I am wearing my usual XS which covers sizes 6 – 8, and it’s a great fit. For reference my measurements are 32″-24″, and the XS measurements on the Love Ur Look size chart are 30-32″ in the bust and 25-27″ in the waist. It fits really well in the bust and then is a little bigger in the waist, but that’s all fixed with the tie belt. I always expect shirt dresses to be a slightly more relaxed fit so the apple dress fits the bill perfectly. It’s also super comfy!
The apple dress is available on the Look Ur Look website in the blue version that I’m wearing and also in this green version. It retails for £68 and shipping is available worldwide. You can buy from Love Ur Look knowing that their clothing is ethically made in the UK and India from ethically-sourced fabrics and trims. They are releasing new styles all the time so you can keep up to date with all their swoon-inducing goodies over on Instagram and Facebook.

Thank you so much to Ronke from Love Ur Look for another wonderful collaboration, and to @cmjsnz for these photos. I didn’t think we’d get them as it was a terribly windy day but luckily we found a sheltered spot at the Lake House Arts Centre.
