I feel like I’m currently in holiday season limbo! I’m always so excited for Christmas, and so once it’s over I look forward to the next occasion where I get to dress to a theme – Valentine’s day! Enter the Norma dress from Wax Poetic Clothing, a darkly romantic piece that’s a winner for a V-day date. This beauty takes its name from Norma Shearer, the iconic old Hollywood actress and the perfect inspiration. As someone who loves being comfy but also overdressed (it’s a given when you dress 50s, am I right?) the Norma dress ticks all the boxes. Made of the softest stretch velvet, it’s an absolute dream to wear – looking glam has never been so easy! I chose the black version which has adorable giant red bows sewn at the waist, and it also comes in red and princess blue versions which are equally gorgeous. And I’m sure you’ll be as pleased as I am to know it has pockets! I’m wearing a size XS, which is best for a 32/34″ bust and a 24/25″ waist. I love that the stretch fabric leaves room for food, and that the sizing is for every body, going up to 3X covering a 45/48″ bust and a 38/41″ waist.
