Erstwilder‘s Christmas collections are always something I look forward to! We were delighted to shoot the entire range for the website and, not having seen a preview before they arrived, opening up all the boxes was quite literally like Christmas. In this year’s holiday selection, expertly designed by Elena Leong, there’s everything from ice skates to a skating penguin! Check out my favourites below.

The Night Before Pink-mas brooch

You asked, Erstwilder listened! I lose count of how much love I’ve seen for the elusive pink Christmas tree, and now it’s here! Made of a soft pink solid resin and topped with spangly baubles and star, the Night Before Pink-mas brooch certainly is a slice of pink holiday goodness. Who says Christmas can’t be pink? I’m off to go plan an entire outfit around this beauty right now!

Glitter and Glide brooch

Confession time: every time I think about ice skating, I imagine myself to be an ice princess. In reality I’m really not (I get more shaky with age!) but the few times I’ve been on the ice it’s never stopped me from thinking that this next time might be the time my true ice skating prowess is unveiled. In the meantime though I’m delighted to have the Glitter and Glide brooch, something that gives me all the cute ice skating vibes without risk of injuring myself! The skates are made of bright white solid resin, with silver glitter blades, a cute pink heart at the ankle, and chain laces with little bells at the end. And they’re so much more elegant than actually going ice skating, for me at least!

Starlight, Star Bright brooch

I’m loving the amount of glitter in this release, and the Starlight, Star Bright brooch has got me all magpie-like! The silver and blue sparkly combo of resins is so pretty, and the brooch itself is such a classic design. Add matching earrings for the full glitzy experience!

Holly Jolly necklace & brooch

The Holly Jolly necklace and brooch are so gorgeous, how could they not be part of my favourites? Featuring swirling textured resins in many shades of green and topped with deep red berries, both the brooch and necklace are so detailed and they look beautiful together or apart. There’s also a matching pair of earrings to make a three piece set!

Getting to shoot all the Christmas goodies was a dream come true and the wintery feel of the range perfectly fits with how cold it’s getting here.
