I’m not much of an outdoorsy person, but it does feel a little weird to not have any beaches at my disposal for the first time – especially after spending almost all my life surrounded by them! But in the Coco set from Violets in May I can experience all the joy of a beachy outfit, without actually being at the beach. I’m not going to lie, I was more than a bit terrified to model this outfit due to it showing some skin around my middle area – eep! However I am delighted to say that I could not have felt like more of a goddess in this set! All Violets in May pieces are custom made to order, and this set being in my exact measurements made it the perfect fit and made me feel a lot more comfortable in it. It comes in the lightest rayon which is so ideal for the summer heat, and the fabric printed with big pinky-red blooms and green leaves on a blue background is a tropical dream. The skirt hits at my ankles and has gathers at the hips for added volume, while the top ties in the middle to give a flattering sweetheart neckline. I was really pleased that the top still covered my normal bra, so I didn’t have to fuss with finding some kind of special bra that would stay hidden or go braless! If you’re as in love with this set as I am, you can get it in a range of fabrics and sizes (UK6-16), and it will be made just for you in 4-6 weeks.
