I absolutely adore The Marvelous Mrs Maisel; the clothes, the settings, the cracking dialogue – it all makes for each episode being a slice of pure TV magic! I’m sure there are many of us out there who have admired Midge’s incredible and seemingly endless wardrobe, and probably wondered how much was made for the show vs which pieces were vintage (and, therefore, could there be another out there?). Well if you’ve been coveting or hunting for one of her fabulous dresses, the search is over! Heart My Closet offer a wide range of fully customisable styles including so many pieces from the world of Mrs Maisel. You might remember Midge’s awkward wedding speech for her friend Mary in episode 3 of season 2? Cynthia has lovingly recreated the dress she was wearing! How cute is this dress?! The peter pan collar, front centre bow, pearly buttons, and puffed 3/4 sleeves are all key details from the original that have been beautifully executed by Cynthia in this recreation. It also features a swishy full skirt and a matching self-fabric belt. The pale shade of pink is so delicious, and to make sure the dress is opaque it’s also fully lined. I also must mention that all Heart My Closet creations are fully customisable – Cynthia will send through a detailed list of measurements for you to provide to get the fit just right, and you can also choose things like your sleeve length, skirt length, skirt style, and fabric. Needless to say, this dress fits me like a glove!
