Life’s too short to have sore feet, so I am so grateful to Charlie Stone Shoes for showing me the light in keeping my tootsies comfy and stylish! Last month I talked about their gorgeous red Valentina flats; this month I’m raving about the Monaco flats in black. Read about just how amazing they are after the jump!
The Monaco flats feature a leather snakeskin texture upper and lining, with a cute T-bar strap and cut-out details. The slight interior wedge adds an elegance you don’t usually see with flats, while the insole is cushioned for extra comfort. As you might have guessed, this pair of Charlie Stone Shoes is named for the beloved and iconic Princess Grace, so it’s fitting that this is such a classic shoe. I have honestly thrashed these beauties since we arrived in London; I keep coming back to these and the Valentina flats just about every time we go out, and I’m so impressed at how well they’ve held up through all that walking too. I’ll keep wearing them (with tights!) until I get frostbite, I swear!
Sizing at Charlie is European and runs from 35 – 42, and there’s a handy size chart for conversions. In addition, owner Sam is super helpful with sizing so don’t be afraid to get in touch with her if you’re unsure of your size! I went with a size 37, which corresponds to my usual US size 6.5. The fit is perfect for me, though if you’re usually between Euro sizes take note that the product page recommends sizing down to your nearest whole size for this style. Most sizes are out of stock at the moment but there’s a shipment coming in very soon and you can sign up for an email alert for this. If you’re a fan the Monaco is also available in a metallic rose shade too! Pricing retails at $149AUD, an absolute steal for these top quality shoes, and shipping is free if you’re in Aus, NZ, USA, or parts of Europe.
