Betty & Veronica fans, raise your hands! I am so excited that these iconic Archie Comics characters have inspired a whole fashion collection with the new Betty and Veronica label. The top I’m wearing today, the Veronica button down, is part of the current collection designed by Rachel Antonoff that also includes accessories and sleepwear – basically all things B&V!
The Veronica button down features a huge print of the lady herself, with her striking blue-black hair, red lips and a peek of yellow sweater. This is a top that is super eye-catching and screams fun. I felt like a walking artwork while wearing it, and that’s also what inspired me to give such a pop art feel to this shoot. Veronica is printed onto 100% white cotton poplin, which super light and perfect for warm weather, with pale blue piping around the edge of the collar. The buttons are hidden, and there’s a spare sewn into the side which is so handy!
The Betty and Veronica size chart ranges from XS to XL, covering US sizes 2 to 16. I’m wearing an XS, as my measures of 32″-24″ were closest to the XS measurements on the size chart of 32.5/33.5″-25/26″. The shirt itself is designed to be quite square, which gives versatility in that you can tuck it in like I have here, tie it at the front, or simply wear it out over cigarette pants or a pencil skirt.
You can find the Veronica button down for sale on the Betty and Veronica website, and it’s also available in a Betty version! Both retail for $111USD each, and shipping is free in the US if you spend over $90USD or $29 to anywhere else in the world.
