Review: Megan dress │ Karina Dresses

You lovelies know how much I adore Karina Dresses, so I’m sure you can understand how stoked I am to be bringing another of their styles to the blog! Today’s post features the fabulous Megan dress in Crimson Navy Floral – read on to find out more!

The Megan dress immediately caught my eye when I was looking over Karina Dresses’s new fall prints, as it features two of my staple colours – red and navy! The Megan style is the shorter sister to the Margaret dress, falling just below the knee where the Margaret falls mid-calf. The slightly puffed sleeves, faux-wrap style and overall drape of the dress make it feel very 1940s, which is always a nice change for me!

I chose to bring out bright tomato red of this print, matching my hair flower, necklace and heels. For those in the Northern Hemisphere the Megan would transition really well into fall by pairing it with navy accessories, or it would look great with gold for the festive season. As with all the Karina Dresses styles, the Megan is made in a polyester/spandex blend which means no ironing required and that the fabric is beautifully swishy and comfortable to wear!

The Crimson Navy Floral Megan dress retails for $108USD and is available to purchase through the Karina Dresses website. It’s available in sizes XS-XXL, and I recommend checking their ‘Best Fit Guide‘ to make sure you order the right size. I ordered my usual size XS which once again was a perfect fit (it covers US sizes 0 – 4), though do bear in mind that this dress (unlike some Karina Dresses styles including the Margaret) does not have a tie at the waist to cinch you in; this wasn’t an issue for me but if you are between sizes then I recommend contacting customer service to double check which size to order.
