Rocky Horror│Erstwilder

After their incredible Grease collection last year, I’m sure I wasn’t the only one shivering in antici…pation wondering what Erstwilder‘s next licensed collection might be. Well get ready to give yourself over to pleasure, because it’s all about the Rocky Horror Picture Show! This release is packed full of iconic images and characters from one of the most loved cult-classics of all time, all in brooch, necklace, and earring form. Now you don’t have to dream them – you can wear them! See my favourites and how I’ve styled them below.

Science Fiction Lips brooch

Rocky Horror arguably has the most infamous opening credits sequence in movie history! The lips of Patricia Quinn and voice of Richard O’Brien combined forces to bring us the opening song ‘Science Fiction/Double Feature,’ and set the androgynous tone of the film. This moment has been immortalised in brooch form with the Science Fiction Lips brooch, a lip-bitingly good mixture of glitter and textured resins. These lips can add just the right amount of sass to your outfit, especially if you’re headed to the late night double feature picture show.

Columbia the Corruptible brooch

Whenever there has been occasion in my life for a Rocky Horror dress-up I’ve gone as Magenta, but I’ve always wished I could have been a Columbia! That sequinned ensemble of hers is too cute, from her spangly top hat to her bright blue socks and sparkling tap shoes. The Columbia the Corruptible brooch has all the glitter appropriate for this pocket rocket, and she’s giving me inspiration to finally put together a Columbia costume of my own!

Rocky Horror Picture Show necklace

And what Rocky Horror collection would be complete without the dripping title credits? The Rocky Horror Picture Show necklace is the statement piece you need in your life! It’s made up of not one, not two, but three layers of resin, with the top layer covered in glitter. And the addition of Columbia’s hat is such a sweet touch!

Thank you so much to the amazing Erstwilder team, who sent these over as a wonderful parcel of goodness to come home to as we were away for the release. And thank you to @cmjsnz for these snaps, our first blog shoot together as a married couple ❤ Let me know which Rocky Horror pieces you got your hands on in the comments!
