Valentine’s bundle box│Daniel Wellington [+ discount code!]

Daniel Wellington are creators of the timeless classic that tells the time – their chic and stylish watches! I’ve been lucky enough to try their Classic Petite Melrose watch which has been included in a gift set with the Durham strap and a heart charm. Read on to find out more about the DW brand, see how I’ve styled this set, and for an exclusive discount code!

Filip Tysander came up with the concept of Daniel Wellington, having the goal to create watches with a minimalist and elegant feel. There was in fact a real Daniel Wellington, a fellow traveller who inspired Filip by wearing his vintage watches with old NATO straps. The brand Daniel Wellington began in 2011, designing classic watch faces with interchangeable straps and turning into a global phenomenon.

I chose the Classic Petite Melrose gift set, which features the Melrose watch plus Durham strap plus heart charm. The Melrose watch is a newer style featuring a rose gold mesh strap and an eggshell white face. My version is 32mm across, and a 28mm face is also available. The Melrose strap can be easily swapped out for the Durham strap with the help of a teeny tool included in the box. The Durham is a caramel leather strap which fits in perfectly with the rose gold accents on the watch itself. The sweet little heart charm is gold and etched with ‘love’, and can pop into one of the strap holes. All straps are fully adjustable, either via the holes in the leather straps or the movable metal clasps on the mesh straps. Each watch also comes in a luxurious gift box to keep it safe.

A watch would make a most wonderful Valentine’s Day present, don’t you think? Well Daniel Wellington agree because they’ve put together some delightful gift sets including the combo I’m featuring in today’s post. They’ve got 10% off plus a complimentary heart charm when you purchase them until the 14th of February! You can also use my exclusive discount code HERODW15 for 15% off any purchase until 31 March, so you’ve got plenty of time to save – see what I did there?

Watches can be purchased directly from Daniel Wellington’s website, where there is a rapidly expanding range to choose from! Parcels are shipped free (yes, free!) all over the world through UPS, and so you get updates each step of the way and they arrive super fast. The bundle I’m wearing in this post retails for $289NZD/$210USD, or for a watch by itself prices start at $209NZD/$150USD. And remember that’s before using my exclusive discount code above for 15% off!
