It’s such a thrill discovering shoe brands that are both stylish and comfy! With a reasonable and hilly walk from my bus stop to the office, the last thing I want is to start my day with feet covered in blisters. Lucky for me, wearing the Feminine Encounters heel from Poetic Licence is like walking on a cloud, and they’re cute to boot! Read all about them and see how I styled them in today’s post.
Poetic Licence are well-known for their quirky and feminine styles, using a mixture of fabrics, colours, and textures to make shoes that stand out from the crowd. The Feminine Encounters heel is a vintage-inspired beauty in a classic Mary Jane style. Delicate lace fabric featuring red, yellow, and orange florals is used over most of the shoe, while the edging, heels, and straps are covered in a bright red-orange suede. The straps have a faux button which doesn’t undo, but they are secured with elastic which makes the shoes easy to get on and off. The attention to detail is impeccable, with even the soles of the shoes featuring Poetic Licence’s signature bow. I paired the Feminine Encounters heel with a red vintage dress and hat, which may well become one of my Christmas looks this year!
My US size is a 6.5, which equates to an NZ6, EU37, or UK4. As there was no advice that the Feminine Encounters heel ran large or small I went with my usual size and they fit like a glove – well, if you wore gloves on your feet, that is! The leather upper and cushioned sole also makes them super comfy, and the heel is well-placed so that they’re easy to get around in.
As if these heels weren’t amazing enough, they are currently on sale! You can get currently get them for a steal at $80USD, down from $125! Shipping is free within the US and international shipping is available to select countries.
