Review’s new arrivals are always a delight, and with more being released every week it’s always a struggle to limit my purchases! As we make our way into warmer days here in the Southern Hemisphere, brightly coloured and patterned prints are on the rise. My pick of this month’s new pieces at Review is the gorgeous Provence prom dress which I’ve styled for today’s blog post. Though we’re a long way from France we managed to find a vaguely European wall covered in ivy which formed the perfect backdrop!

I basically live in floral prints, so no surprise that the delicate blooms on this dress caught my eye! The striped pattern is so pretty, and something a bit different for a floral which I love. The red & white cotton/elastine fabric is luxurious and crisp. The Provence prom dress has all those classic Review details that we love; it’s fully lined, has pockets, comes with a matching belt, and there are little clasps inside the shoulders to hold your bra straps in place. There’s also an inbuilt layer of tulle inside the skirt, and a chic cut-out at the back. This dress is going to be my sweetest summer staple, and because of the colourway I’ve already got it lined up to be one of my Christmas outfits as well!

Thankfully for those of us who love to shop online, Review has some of the most consistent sizing around. I’m wearing my usual size AU6, and as always it fits perfectly. Isn’t it wonderful to have a parcel arrive and know that it’s going to look stunning on you before you even put it on? I’m a fan of a longer skirt length, and the hemline on the Provence prom dress falls a little below the knee. Thanks to the brilliant structure and design this is such a flattering dress and a pleasure to wear!
