The Halloween spirit is truly upon us, with only a week to go until the big day! Andrew from Rather Keen has definitely been feeling some spooky vibes, as he’s designed some appropriately themed pins for the season. Read on to find out more!

The Pinup Witch pin is just too sweet! This lovely lady is perched so elegantly atop her broomstick, wearing a little black dress and heels and holding her hat behind her. She’s even done her hair in bumper bangs and curls! Andrew was inspired by 1940s and 50s pinup art for this design, with this pin having a clearly retro style. From the green tinge of her skin I’m wondering if she could maybe stretch to pinup Elphaba!

Cat lady alert! I am loving this Halloween Cat pin, harking back to vintage illustrations. Though his teeth are bared, he’s still looking dapper in his orange bow tie. His face is actually a dark silvery colour, though will look black depending on where the light is hitting. Both this kitty and the pinup witch are closer to brooch size and fasten with a rubber clasp, and they’re made from nickel metal and hard enamel.
