Springtime collection│Glitterbomb

If the word ‘Glitterbomb’ makes you think of something cute yet fierce, then you’d be right in thinking that’s what this brand is all about! Based in the UK, founder Elise created Glitterbomb as a way to counter the boring mass-produced jewellery out there. Bright and fun acrylic jewellery is their specialty, and it’s laser cut and hand-assembled with love. Elise invited me to pick my favourites from the latest Glitterbomb collection, Springtime, to share on the blog today.

Honey Pot Necklace

The Honey Pot necklace gives me major Winnie the Pooh vibes! It’s made from super bright layered acrylic pieces in golden yellow, red, and blue, and even has a little wooden piece for the honey dipper. At 4 x 5.2cm this is one of Glitterbomb’s larger pieces and is such a delightful addition to your springtime outfit! The 22cm gold plated chain drop means that it sits just the right level, not too high or too low. The Honey Pot necklace retails for £16 and is available now.

Honey Pot Enamel Pin

If you like the Honey Pot necklace but you’re after something a little more understated, then look no further than the Honey Pot Enamel Pin.  This pin is teensy at 2.3 x 3.2cm, but still packs all the punch of the full size necklace with equally bright colours. It fastens at the back with a butterfly pin and would be a particularly great yet subtle addition to a jacket or blazer situation. You can get yours for only £6.50, and their other pins like these adorable Mochi Kitties are definitely worth a look too.

Bee Brooch

How sweet is this little bee brooch?! At 3.7 x 6.1cm it’s just big enough to make a statement, with its bold yellow stripes adding a pop of colour to your outfit. The perfectly crafted honeycomb engraved wings are just the icing on the cake! This little guy has already flown from Glitterbomb’s shelves but if you’re buzzing about him then his twin is still available in necklace form for £14.

Chu Totoro Brooch

The Chu Totoro brooch isn’t part of the new Spring collection but Elise was kind enough to let me pick him in addition to the new styles anyway. I am a huge Studio Ghibli fan (I currently even have a scene from My Neighbour Totoro as my phone wallpaper) and so I am super excited to be able to rock this blue & white cutie! He is unfortunately sold out but if you can’t get enough Ghibli then Glitterbomb also have a Chibi Totoro necklace and Chu & Chibi’s Journey necklace still in stock.
