Recently Maria from Sophisticated Lady Hair Flowers contacted me for a collaboration, and as an Instagram admirer of hers I was only too happy to accept!

Of course when these beauties arrived they were, as I suspected they would be, even more amazing in person. I love that Maria puts different flowers and colours together to make such works of art!

I had told Maria about my love of bright and bold colours, and of course she delivered! In these photos I am wearing a wonderful yellow ranunculus with purple and white blossoms and blackberries,  a red rose with white daisies and berries, and a blue ranunculus with hydrangeas and blueberries. I really enjoyed picking out the colours of the flowers to match with tops in my wardrobe, and there are so many colour combos I can’t wait to try with each one.

Each of the Sophisticated Lady hair flowers is superbly made, and I know that each piece will last a long time. All of mine have been made with alligator clips, but Maria also has a number of combs available in her Etsy shop which are perfect for up-dos.
