I was thrilled to be contacted by Vendula London creative bags recently to feature one of their products. It’s rare to find a range of handbags and accessories that is so unique, so my decision of what to get was a tough one! I ended up choosing the Ladies Day Large Grab Bag, which is part of their new SS16 collection.

I was after a bag that was on the larger side. I always seem to tote my whole life around with me, and so cramming a lot into a small bag is something I try not to do – a lesson learned after one too many bag casualties! The Ladies Day Large Grab Bag is one of the bigger styles on the Vendula website, measuring 26.5cm x 31cm x 11cm (and if you want something even larger they also have things like messenger and tote bags). This is the perfect size for me to take to work as it will fit a drink bottle as well as the usual things like keys, wallet, etc, but it’s also not TOO big, so that if I took it with me for a weekend brunch or an evening show then it wouldn’t feel clunky.

I love the versatility of the Ladies Day bag, not only because I can take it just about anywhere, but because it includes a longer handle! You can clip this on at the base of the existing handle and it has a buckle which you can use to adjust the length. The bag itself is made of sturdy and durable faux leather and it is beautifully lined with cotton. It has an interior zip pocket, two easy access interior pockets (for your lipstick or phone), and one exterior zip pocket at the back, which is great for all your storing needs.

The Ladies Day bag is bright and fun, and because of all the colours on it I can see myself easily pairing it with a lot of different outfits. I really admire the attention to detail; there are lots of 3D elements to the bag like the bow, flowers and grass, as well as different textures in the fabrics used. A really nice touch is that the fence and grass continues around the back of the bag, with a sign saying ‘Ladies Day’ on it – too cute!

The Ladies Day Large Grab Bag retails for £75; it is available through the Vendula London website and they ship internationally. I can promise you’ll have so much fun browsing through their site – there’s all sorts of themes available, from Tea Party to Chocolate Shop to Cottages! They make such wide range of accessories in each style – all sizes of bags as well as wallets, phone cases, makeup bags; the list goes on! Vendula’s styles are guaranteed to put a smile on your face and are a great finishing touch to any outfit.
