Where to buy

Bandana-na!

Here on the blog today, I bring you Inkabilly – the Emporium for Rockers and Rollers! Inkabilly is the brainchild of rockabilly husband and wife team Karl and Lee, who have a strong background in art and design and live and breathe the vintage lifestyle. When Lee contacted me to give some of their bandanas a whirl their adorable gingham pieces caught my eye, which of course lead to this mix-and-match gingham post!

Lee makes the Inkabilly bandanas using an original 1950’s pattern to get the dimensions just right. They’re perfectly square, which means they’re great for getting that authentic vintage style. As I’ve shown here, you can wear them in your hair or tied round your neck – or however else you choose! They are wonderful for adding that extra pinch of cute to an outfit, and being cotton you know they will wash and wear really well. Lee also loves buying new fabrics – you can see the full bandana range here, but keep an eye out for more prints coming soon!

You can find Inkabilly products here; not only do they make amazing bandanas, but they also sell bags, compacts, jewellery, coasters, mugs, notebooks, clothing (and more!), the majority of which is handmade by Lee and Karl from their home in Bristol, UK, with the rest sourced from like-minded vintage enthusiasts. You can purchase through their website (they ship worldwide with very reasonable rates, only £3.60 for New Zealand ladies and gents), and you can also find them at retro & vintage fairs across the UK. And you can follow Inkabilly on Instagram to keep up to date with what they’re up to!

Thank you so much to Inkabilly for this fun collaboration, and to @cmjsnz for the photos!
