Now that we’re finally getting into summer here in London (well, almost) not only are all my sundresses coming out but I find myself walking more and more! So I’m delighted to have a sweet pair of the comfiest flats around from Charlie Stone Shoes just in time for the sunshine. The Montpellier flats in cream are another beautiful creation from shoe genius Sam – that crossover detailing at the toes alone is swoon-worthy! I took these stunners on our recent trip to Lisbon and they were ideal for pounding the cobbled streets in the heat. Read more below!
So many of my beloved vintage summer dresses feature florals on light backgrounds, so to say these perfect cream flats are a godsend is an understatement! I honestly haven’t worn heels to work in at least three weeks, and Charlie Stone Shoes have been my go to. A lighter coloured flat like the Montpellier style is just the right kind of neutral to go with everything, and they’re so chic that they still feel really dressy and feminine for work (or anywhere I go really)! These beauties are made from the finest leather which truly moulds to your feet after the few wears, and they have a lush cushioned insole to keep your tootsies comfy for at least 20,000 steps a day (trust me, I’ve tested this)! I’m wearing my usual size 37 in the Montpelliers and they fit so well! The first couple of times I wore them I needed a couple of bandaids for safety, but now they’re fully broken in and so dreamy on my feet. For all the tips & tricks you’ll need for any pair of Charlie Stone shoes, make sure to check here or contact Sam directly.
