Sunny Afternoon titles the latest Karina Dresses collection, which absolutely lives up to its name! It’s packed with sweet and whimsical prints that’ll instantly have you ready for a summer’s day, as well as lots of bold and bright floral and solid colour dresses that really pop! This time I’ve opted to try the Margaret dress in seaside print, a dreamy dress that we were able to photograph in an equally dreamy garden setting. Find out more about it after the jump!
The seaside print is a new addition to the Karina Dresses collection of signature prints, taking previous signature print harvest floral and revising it for summer. This time it’s designed in the softest shade of sky blue with off-white flowers, making it easy to style with neutrals, gold, or even a splash of red. I chose all cream accessories for this post, and felt very much like a 1940s lady heading off to an afternoon tea in the garden!
As always I have chosen my usual size XS in this style, and the fit is great. One of the many things I love about Karina Dresses is that their sizing is so consistent, whether it’s in a new collection or even a different style. The Margaret dress I think is a bit of a hybrid between the Ruby and the Megan styles, taking the waist tie from the Ruby and the fitted waist panel from the Megan to ensure a truly flattering style. The length is the longest of the Karina Dresses styles, hitting at about mid-calf on me.
You can purchase the Margaret dress in seaside print directly from the Karina Dresses website for $108USD. And if you’re first order look out for the little window that pops up when you enter the website, as registering there will give you 15% off! Karina Dresses will ship all over the world, and if you’re US-based and spend over $150USD then your shipping is free.
