Though it might not seem like it if you’re still experiencing snowstorms, warm weather is just around the corner for those of you in the northern hemisphere! So hopefully it won’t be long before you can ditch your winter boots and pop on your summer sandals. UK-based Hotter Shoes have you covered with their latest styles including the Hallie sandal in tango red, as well as many other vintage-inspired styles! Read more and see how I’ve styled them below.
Recently I’ve found myself opting more and more for my most comfortable shoes, especially to wear to work. I’ve invested in more pairs of flats and don’t mind spending a little more for well-made heels, and I’ve started moving a lot of my uncomfortable shoes to the ‘to sell’ pile as they’re just not worth the blisters. So the Hallie sandals are an absolute delight for me, as they are like walking on air! They’re designed in a slingback style with a sweet crossover stitching detail at the toes, and made with a leather upper. The wedge heel elevates the feet a little and is covered in a cute floral fabric which complements the rich red suede on the main part of the shoe. Hotter Shoes is committed to keeping your feet comfortable, so all their styles including the Hallie sandals are made with lightweight and flexible soles which are also a little bit squishy. And of course they still look super stylish and elegant!
One of the reasons the Hallie sandals are so comfortable is because they’re the perfect fit! Shoes are offered in UK sizing, but to help take the confusion out of conversion Hotter Shoes have offered a detailed fit page so you can make sure you’re getting the right size first time. I usually wear a US6.5, so going by the size chart I went with a UK4.5. The sizing was spot on, and the adjustable strap is an added bonus.
Pricing at Hotter Shoes starts at around £45/$90NZD, ranging up to £75/$150NZD for heels and more for boots. Shipping is available worldwide and in some locations you can even shop by your country. Unfortunately the Hallie sandals aren’t yet available on the Hotter Shoes website but I’ll update as soon as they’re available so watch this space!
