It is my absolute pleasure to be bringing you more goodness from Karina Dresses today! Their new Spring 2017 collection has just been released, full of your favourite styles in a lot of exciting new prints. One of my favourites is the Megan dress in this beautiful teal fans print.
I know I reviewed the Megan dress in Crimson Floral Print in my last Karina Dresses review, but am just so in love with the style and the teal fans print really caught my eye, so I had to add another to my collection! This time I truly got into the 40s styling with a half poodle hair do and gloves, which was so fun! And I love a theme, so I chose accessories that echoed the fan print in the dress – an Erstwilder peacock brooch and heels with fan-style cut-outs.
As always, this dress is super duper comfy. All Karina Dresses styles are made from microfibre material that breathes in summer but still keeps you warm in winter, and best of all doesn’t need ironing! The Megan dress in teal fans print once again proves that you don’t need to sacrifice comfort for style, as it’s so elegant and flattering for so many body shapes. If you’re travelling, catch public transport to work or just lead a busy life then these dresses are definitely for you.
Karina Dresses make dresses in sizes XS to XXL, which covers US sizes 0-24. I am wearing a size XS which is my usual size at Karina Dresses, and it fits really well. For reference, the size chart for the XS shows 31-33″ in the bust and 24-26″ in the waist, and my measurements are roughly 32″-24″. There is no waist tie on the Megan dress, so while I could have worn a belt with it I didn’t feel that my waist needed cinching as it sat so nicely without. I tend not to wear V-neck styles as I don’t have much to show off in the bust area, but Karina Dresses make sure that these kinds of styles don’t dip too low so that they are chic but still work appropriate. You can also check their Best Fit Guide which shows which dress styles best suit each different body shape.
The Megan dress in teal fans print is available to purchase through the Karina Dresses website for $108USD, and international customers will be pleased to know that they ship across the world for a very reasonable fee. To me this is such a reasonable price to pay for a such a well-designed dress made in the USA, one you know will last and look good!
