I am thrilled to be bringing another dress from Karina Dresses to the blog! After raving about their Ruby dress in my last Karina Dresses post, today I am reviewing the Margaret dress in Blue Vintage Floral print. And keep reading for a surprise at the end of this post!
The Margaret is made in a polyester/spandex blend and features a faux-wrap bodice, slightly puffed sleeves, and a tie at the waist. Like other Karina Dresses products, the Margaret doesn’t need ironing, which is good news for any busy girl. This style falls about mid-calf and definitely has more of a 40s feel, which I love as it’s so different to a lot of other dresses in my wardrobe! I did pair it with a thinner petticoat as I feel naked without one, but with a style like this that’s definitely not a necessity.
I don’t wear much (if any) black clothing, so choosing the Margaret with its black background was a bit of a risk for me! However, stepping out of my comfort zone was a good idea because it’s such a lovely dress. It’s very elegant and the floral pattern means it would work well for a day or night occasion. I chose to bring out the bright royal blue flowers with a matching necklace and heels, and there’s also lovely shades of cream and green in the print which will be perfect going into spring here!
The Margaret dress in Blue Vintage Floral retails for $108USD and is available to purchase through the Karina Dresses website. It’s available in sizes XS-XXL, and I recommend checking their ‘Best Fit Guide‘ to make sure you order the right size. I am wearing a size XS which covers US sizes 0-4, and though I am at the lower end of the measurements on the size chart I feel that it’s a perfect fit, and oh so comfy!

It’s hard to decide which Karina Dress is the most beautiful, but if I had to choose, I think the Ruby – Navy with White Pin Dot and the Trudy – Black dress are the ones that fit better with my style.

There are so many cute dresses! If I won, I think I would pick the Jackie – Gray Plaid. I really love plaid patterns, and I absolutely adore the style of the dress. I think it looks like it would be flattering.

Absolutely gorgeous! I think the Karina dress I’d pick would be the Ruby in Teal Fans. But really, all their dresses are beautiful, so it’s hard to choose.

Wow that dress is gorgeous. I’m so glad I found you through instagram! I love finding pinup and vintage gals since I’m trying to build up my wardrobe. As for the contest I would choose the Megan navy with white dots, it looks like it would flatter my bigger bust!

Having looked through your review it’d be hard to choose anything other than the Margaret dress you’re wearing! You look stunning in it! It would be perfect for daytime work wear but easily transitioned for an evening out.
